The Equus Sconce features hand-finished brass with a horse hair trim, enhanced with an ethereal glow. This pairing highlights a contrast within and between the materials — horse hair appears wispy and delicate but is simultaneously coarse and strong, while the rigidity of brass is softened by gentle curves.

Inspired by the designs of Mexican modernist works in silver, particularly geometric perfume bottles, the Portal Sconce features a chunky oval metal body. Light is diffused through inset frosted glass, creating a warm and welcoming glow.

The Armor Sconce features a carefully crafted hand-blown glass pendant draped with finished stainless steel chainmail. Pulling from the intricate use of chainmail in Medieval armor, we reinterpret its materiality by creating a balance between the strength that the metal mesh evokes and the delicate and elegant nature of hand-blown glass.
